The Journey of Self-Discovery

To go on a journey of self discovery means to simply find a path and walk through it to find who you are. As you walk, run, stumble, stride, sprint, and fight; you discover your strengths, and how to overcome your weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, and a way to find inner peace and happiness doing what you love.

I would also say it's the time to escape from your boring ordinary life, to find who you really are and what you have done in your life and what you want to do in your life. It is the time when you discover not just who you are but also what you are capable of, and your abilities.

I once hanged around with the wrong group of people my eighth grade year and I didn't find my self discovery until I made my teacher cry which made me feel like the biggest jerk ever. That's when I broke away with that group of people, because I knew that wasn't who I truly was. Which truly helped me to find my self discovery. Which was that I'm not that rude type of person.

Better Watch Your Back!

The people who watch you and make comments about you behind your back generally do not "have your best interests at heart." Those are the people that say things about you that can hurt you and just start rumors about you. They're usually the ones that cause drama for everyone and they do it, because they have nothing else better to do and have no life. They are the people that were once your friend but now there not, because they went behind your back and back stabbed you.

The people that truly "have your best interests at heart" are the people that are truly your friends. They are the ones that they will say things to you straight, not go behind your back and talk about you. Everyone says that you only have a a few true friends, and everyone can agree that it's true. Everyone has had someone back stab them, if they were a close friend or not, everyone has been hurt even if they might have your best interests at heart. I can truly say that I have a few true friends, because I know that they will be there for me through the thick and thin.
