The American Dream is the belief of having the freedom to pursuit your desire for achievement, success, prosperity and hard work. From this definition then I am living the American Dream.
I am the oldest child in my family of a middle class house-hold. I grew up in the south side of San Antonio. We didn't have enough money when I was growing up but now I can say that God has blessed us. My parents also grew up in the south side with very little to grow up with but my grandparents made it good for them. They struggled and we struggled but I can say that there sacrifice has helped my parents and they have helped me through the years and now I can say that I have the American Dream.
I'm healthy and have a happy family. I'm still in high school and have a good education. I have a job that I like to do. Now I have all the things I need to be living the dream, so I am the American Dream.
