From Loving to Read to the Desire to Write
Having the desire to write can have a different affect on people. Some people may have not like to read, but seemed to love to write stories that make up. For others it can be from the love of reading. If you read you can get stories and ideas to write something of your own, which let you have that desire to write. If you also didn't have the love to read how would you know how to write a story. Wanting the desire to write doesn't have to be from having a love to read, everyone has there opinion in where they got there desire to write, so doesn't mean they got it for having a love for reading.

Going On A Hurston Hunt
Walker and her friend she talks to over email are great followers of Zora Hurston, and admire her and her work. They soon decide together that they will meet up at and find more facts about their favorite writer. Walker and Charlotte both meet up at the airport and start
their quest in finding more about Hurston. On their quest, they begin by questioning Hurston's niece. Following that clue they start to gather up information from Mrs. Moseley that knew Zora and learn where she was buried at,
and decide to buy a tombstone for Hurston's grave. They then meet up with Dr. Benton, who was close friends with Zora, just to find more
things about Zora like her real cause of death, that she was fat, and
her relationships with her neighbors.
Walker comes across the problem of getting people to tell her about Zora Hurston. So she came p with idea to pose as Hurston's niece. The fact that know one really knew Hurston's real niece, was the only reason why she could pull off being Hurston's niece. But as time goes on Walker begins to find her own roots. In the end she ends up thinking that she is one of Hurston's family members, so this experience opened up Walker's eyes to Hurston and her writings, but it also showed Walker more about herself, where she came from, and personally opened her eyes to who she is.

Feelin' Blue
I never knew what love is?
I always wondered what it was,
I once knew what it was,
I once felt what it was,
But I don't know what happened.
He said he'll give me everything,
He'll always be there for me,
He'll protect me,
He'll love me,
But that's what men always say.
My first mistreated me,
he made me do things
that a man is suppose to do.
My second treated me right,
loved me, then changed.
Why do I even try anymore?
No one likes me,
How I do things,
How I work.
Now look at me
I'm beaten down,
muted.
Will I ever find, what love truly is?
I always wondered what it was,
I once knew what it was,
I once felt what it was,
But I don't know what happened.
He said he'll give me everything,
He'll always be there for me,
He'll protect me,
He'll love me,

The Time of Question and Answers
Growing up we often ask a whole lot of questions asking why or what, but we never give answers. Every year can be different. But for Jaine this upcoming year will be the time for both questions and the time for answers. Janie gets married to Joe, her second husband, and she still doesn't know how to act like a wife, even though she was married before to Logan, whom she left, because she was treated like a slave or how Nanny says a "mule". With Logan she learned very little and didn't love him, but with her new husband Joe, she thinks that she is in love. But what she doesn't know if Joe will treat her the right way, because she married him too fast. If Joe ends up treating her bad that will answer her question about getting married so
fast, and that she made the right decision, and also making the question is what she did the best thing for her.

The Journey of Self-Discovery
To go on a journey of self discovery means to simply find a path and walk through it to find who you are. As you walk, run, stumble, stride, sprint, and fight; you discover your strengths, and how to overcome your weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, and a way to find inner peace and happiness doing what you love.
I would also say it's the time to escape from your
boring ordinary life, to find who you really are and what you have done in
your life and what you want to do in your life. It is the time when you discover not just who you are but
also what you are capable of, and your abilities.
I once hanged around with the wrong group of people my eighth grade year and I didn't find my self discovery until I made my teacher cry which made me feel like the biggest jerk ever. That's when I broke away with that group of people, because I knew that wasn't who I truly was. Which truly helped me to find my self discovery. Which was that I'm not that rude type of person.

Better Watch Your Back!
The people who watch you and make comments about you behind your back generally do not "have your best interests at heart." Those are the people that say things about you that can hurt you and just start rumors about you. They're usually the ones that cause drama for everyone and they do it, because they have nothing else better to do and have no life. They are the people that were once your friend but now there not, because they went behind your back and back stabbed you.
The people that truly "have your best interests at heart" are the people that are truly your friends. They are the ones that they will say things to you straight, not go behind your back and talk about you. Everyone says that you only have a a few true friends, and everyone can agree that it's true. Everyone has had someone back stab them, if they were a close friend or not, everyone has been hurt even if they might have your best interests at heart. I can truly say that I have a few true friends, because I know that they will be there for me through the thick and thin.
